Tesla Spotted Testing Heavily Camouflaged Robotaxi at Warner Brothers Studios

Tesla’s Robotaxi has been gaining a lot of hype ahead of its official announcement on 10th October at Warner Bros. Studio in Los Angeles. Now in a turn of event, a Reddit user who claims to be working at Warner Bros Studio sighted what’s claimed to be upcoming Tesla’s Robotaxi at the launch site. The mysterious vehicle was covered in a yellow camouflage.

This seems to be a Test prototype of Robotaxi with a two-door and Model 3 like headlights. According to the person, the vehicle also has a full-width LED light strip at the rear akin to that of the Cybertruck.

Robotaxi is said to have no steering wheel or pedals to simplify the interior and reduce maintenance costs. The interior will be very spacious thanks to the adjusted and minimal seats and adjustments. Tesla aims to give it a very modern yet very spacious look.

Robotaxi will also have doors on both sides and an emergency exit for the passenger’s safety and convenience. These design choices not only enhance the car’s safety but also reduce production costs. Tesla has also improved the motor design, reducing silicon carbide by 75% and eliminating the need for rare earth materials to further lower costs and improve sustainability.

One of the highlights of the Robotaxi will be its highly advanced autonomous driving built on Tesla’s years of R&D and hard work. Tesla’s current Full Self Driving (FSD) is industry-leading in terms of autonomous driving.

In recent months, Elon Musk has stopped addressing Tesla as an ‘EV manufacturer’ but he is trying to position Tesla as an Artificial Intelligence and Robotics leader. Musk’s ultimate goal is to create a Tesla where autonomous vehicles will go out and drive people on their own.

So Tesla wants its robotaxi to be fully autonomous without any human involvement, unlike its other consumer vehicles which require human interference. This means that from design to its software, everything is optimized for driverless operation.
